Osuustoimintaleiri Coop Camp Tampereella 9. – 11. syyskuuta
- vieraaksi saapuu itävaltalainen Global Villages asiantuntija Franz Nahrada
Tampereella 9.-11.9. järjestettävä Coop Camp on monialainen tapahtumaviikonloppu, jonka tavoitteena on luoda siltaa epämuodollisen yhdessä tekemisen, osuuskuntatoiminnan ja akateemisen osuustoiminnan tutkimuksen välille.
Pispalan kulttuuriyhdistyksen ja Pixelache Helsingin järjestämän tapahtuman voi nähdä osuustoimintaleirinä, johon kaikki kiinnostuneet voivat kokoontua jakamaan näkemyksiään ja kokemuksiaan pirkanmaalaisesta ja suomalaisesta osuustoiminnasta – kansainvälistä ulottuvuutta unohtamatta.
Tampereen keskustassa ja Pispalassa tapahtuva Coop Camp -viikonloppu koostuu kutsuttujen luoennoitsijoiden presentaatioista perjantaina ja epämuodollisista esityksistä ja keskusteluista lauantaina.
Lauantain ohjelma rakentuu vapaasti päivän aikana vierailijoiden näköiseksi. Ohjelma jätetään tarkoituksellisesti osittain avoimeksi ns. unconference tai barcamp -mallin mukaisesti, ja osallistujia kannustetaan jakamaan ideoitaan, kokemuksiaan sekä esittelemään esimerkkejä yhdessä tekemisen hankkeista. Esityksen muoto on vapaa! Se voi olla luento, peli, työpaja, ruoanlaittohetki tai vaikka fyysistä yhdessä tekemistä; voimistelua tai tanssia.
Tapahtuman vieraaksi ja pääpuhujaksi saapuu itävaltalainen Franz Nahrada, joka on kansainvälisen Global Villages -aatteen tärkeimpiä kehittäjiä. Global Villages -ajattelun mukaan paikalliset omavaraiset yhteisöt ja vertaisryhmät voivat toimia entistä tehokkaammin jakamalla tietotaitoa ja kokemuksia kansainvälisten verkostojen kautta, jotka nykyinen nopea tiedonvälitys mahdollistaa. Nahrada alustaa perjantaina 9. syyskuuta Coop Campin avajaistapahtumassa otsikolla “Global Villages – the extension of the cooperative village logic to a global energy in the age of communication.” Nahradan vierailua tukee Itävallan suurlähetystö.
Suomalaista asiantuntemusta edustavat Helsingin yliopiston Ruralia-instituutin Co-op Network Studies -ohjelman verkko-opetuskoordinaattori Pekka Hytinkoski sekä dosentti Tapani Köppä, jonka aiheena on osuuskuntatoiminnan humanistinen ulottuvuus. Paikallisesta toiminnasta alustaa osuustoimintaneuvoja Mirja Taipale Tampereen seudun osuustoimintakeskuksesta.

Welcome to Coop Camp in Tampere!
This trans-disciplinary weekend of events aims to connect the practice of informal cultural cooperation and formal cooperatives (kulttuuriosuuskunta) in Pirkkanmaa and wider Finland. Including the network cultural scenes of Pispala Kulttuuriyhdistys and Pixelache Helsinki, this event follows the ICA Global Research Conference held in Mikkeli in late August. At the conference most of the arguments promoting cooperative entrepreneurship were socio-economical, with few cultural and practitioner voices. Welcome to join us, take part and share yours!
The Coop Camp is a tietotalkoot event, an occasion to learn about cooperatives, to share experiences, stories and practices of different types of cooperativism, as well as a place to ask for co-operators, gathering not only local Finnish cultural perspectives and ambitions, but also those of a more international networked scene. Hence, the weekend starts in Tampere centre with a keynote presentation by Franz Nahrada from Vienna, about the Global Villages Network; and continues on the Saturday in Pispala neighbourhood with informal presentations, screenings and activities from lunchtime to evening.
On Saturday, the Coop Camp event takes an open organisational style, unconference/Barcamp style: Instead of pre-selecting all presentations, we encourage certain people to come, as well as make open call for those to turn up on day to share their ideas, perspectives, processes of cooperation. Not limited to just speaking presentations, participants can propose any type of activity that relates or suits cooperation or cooperative action, for example, cooking, construction, game-play, movement or physical actions, problem-solving, and so on.

19:00: Official Opening of Coop Camp at Hub Tampere

Coop Camp (unconference/bar-camp style – who comes contributes somehow to the programme) at Pispalan kirjasto and Hirvitalo.

13:00-14:00: Lunch at Kurpitsatalo Harvest Festival (pay own)
14:00-18:00: Coop Camp afternoon programme
18:00-20:00: Collective dinner making at location to be confirmed (free)
