During the presentations in local schools, both older and younger age groups were curious and enthusiastic. In all the presentations, the first question asked was « How much energy does the laser consume? ». Good question. The answer is 8W, which is less that a low energy light bulb, but powerful enough to blind you if you were to look into the beam source for more than a microsecond.
