Emerging cultural association Hai Art, based on Hailuoto island in the Gulf of Bothnia, northern Finland, organises the Wind as context – Wilderness Art Conference, from 24th to 26th May.
The event is an international research conference for organizations and artists working in remote and rural regions of the EU and furthermore. The conference will explore the question of how contemporary and digital arts can be relevant within those areas and can be beneficial for local communities, visitors and artists alike.
Hai Art is an artist run art platform in Hailuoto, northern Finland, with emphasis on sound, digital media, participatory, ecological and interdisciplinary art forms.
